I truly do not find this information too personal and would love to share my life with you and all the angel families.
My husband and I just had our 25th wedding anniversary on Nov. 8th. We were incapable of having any type of celebration and people respected us and did not make a big fuss. Its only been 6 months since Mike's passing. Mike was my first child and I was 35 when I had him. (I am also in my early 50s. I had 3 miscarrages before he was born. We were about to adopt when I found out I was pregnant again, it was a rough pregnancy but I produced a wonderful baby boy named Mikey.
15 months later my daughter Samantha was born. She's now 17-1/2. I'm hoping that one day Samantha will have a child so I can spoil it.Six days after Mike died was Samantha's (Sam) bday so we bought her an Italian Greyhound. She weighs 8 lbs and is the sweetest thing-cuddly and loves to sleep on top of you or right up against you.I feel like I have a baby again. My daughter isn't home much but when she is I love having her around-its usually that warm & fuzzy feeling.
My husband and I own a business. We are resellers of semiconductors and most of the parts end up on boards that end up on commercial airliners and some are for the military.I am kept extremely busy at work, sometimes too busy.I need to be at a job and know I have a place to be during the week.Unfortunately,my husband doesn't share my work ethic,he is grieving so much at work that he had some very bad days where he has to leave work early. We just hired a young man who has had a rough start in life and he just started today to work for us.He's a hard worker and smart.I'd also like to mention that my son Mike worked for us before he died.In the beginning it killed me that he wasn't there any more.We still have his handwriting on some of the papers in the office. Sometime I get very sad when I see his handwriting because he seemed to really start to enjoy working with us until that last day when he was sending messages on his phone planning to go to the that ended his life.
We own a home in the mountains of N.C.and I truly luv it there. We are planning a short trip there to see our home.It is rented and it is in need of repairs so we are getting some work done.I luv the mountains and especially the snow in winter.I have a lot of memories of the mountains with my family. We live in South Florida so the cold weather is a welcome change for me.
It is my pleasure to share this information with you and the other angel families.
Love,
Harriet Conn
