TESSA JACKSON
Angel Mom to Tasia Jackson

I just wanted to write and tell you a little bit about what got and gets me through the loss of my daughter. First of all Tasia was my stepdaughter. But blood bears no hinderance on the bond between a mother and a child. I have raised Tasia since she was 5 years old and her father and I had custody. She was my daughter. I loved her as my own and my life revolved around her just as it did my other child, Gage. After Tasia passed, our little boy Gage was a Godsend. If not for him, we may not have survived. Through his love and the help of a WONDERFUL grief counselor, I managed to go on. Then I started developing ways that I could continue to mother Tasia even after her passing. I created her website, made a scrapbook, and I still to this day take fresh flowers/balloons, etc.  to her grave every single holiday(even the little ones like st patricks day)and every birthday we write to her on balloons and send them off to her. At our house she is still very much alive, and thought we have yet to go through everything of hers or clear out her room, we slowly find things we can pass on to our younger children. And we fully believe that our angel was the reason why our newest addition, Ethan, miraculously made it into the world. And two years later we are slowly continuing to get our lives back. Its a slow process and we see ALOT of Tasia in her brothers.  All I know is that while we do not pretend she has not passed, we are very well aware of her continued presence, and believing 100 % that she is watching over us is what helps get us through. And the beautiful angels she left behind that she continues to guide are a gift all in its own. Our children really are our saviours. I currently own a business MemoryLane Photo and Party Solutions and I chose the name MemoryLane in honor of Tasia, because everyday we take a trip down memory lane to remember her.

Sincerely, Tessa Jackson
