I found your website while searching for places that my Butterfly poem was posted. I wrote the poem in 1997 shortly after my son, Shawn died from cancer at age 27. I was out in the woods and was suddenly surrounded by a large number of butterflies and knew that Shawn was sending me a message. He continues to let me know he is around, but now he sends pennies in unusual places. I understand your pain; it has been almost 9 years and I miss him just as much. I send hugs to all of you...look for the little signs that your children send; smile and say hello and thank you...who cares if others think you're crazy.. :)we have been sadly given the gift of knowing that there is indeed another place much better and that our children have been chosen to see it before us....
