We were blessed with Holly on Wednesday morning, October 3, 1979.
She weighed 9 pounds and 6 ounces and was such a good baby.
She hardly ever cried except for when she was hungry.
She learned so fast. She was walking and talking by the age of 10 months!
Holly did everything early. I think she knew her time on
earth was going to be cut short.
Holly started school at Happy Valley Elementary, then transferred to Boones Creek
Elementary where she stayed through the fifth grade. She finished Elementary
school at Gray Elementary, where she played basketball on the Varsity team
in both the seventh and eighth grade. She started Daniel Boone High
School as a freshman in 1993, where she played Junior Varsity
and Varsity basketball both her freshman year. She played
on the Varsity team her Sophomore and Junior year until the time
of her accident.

The car Holly was driving the morning of March 11, 1996.
Holly had a single car accident as a result of over-correcting.
She was only traveling an estimated 35-40 miles per hour, but still
received near fatal injuries to her head. Holly was hospitalized for almost
9 months, and struggled and fought over the next six and a half
years and then passed away as a result of a seizure disorder
resulting from the car crash.
Holly enjoyed herself at her Sister's bridal shower
She got to be Maid Of Honor in her Sister
Jaime's wedding on June 1, 2002. Holly received a
ring also!
Holly had wanted her own apartment at The Crumley House
Head Injury Rehab for so long. She moved in on October 1, 2002.
We had her a birthday party there on October 3, 2002. Holly turned 23 that day.
On October 12, 2002, Holly had very severe seizures. She
was hospitalized, then moved to ICU. She remained there for 9 days.
She passed away with her loved ones by her side at 10:12 AM on
the morning of October 21, 2002
We laid our Angel to rest inside the Mausoleum Chapel
at Washington County Memory Gardens on October 24, 2002.
Holly. we love and miss you so very much. You brought so much joy to
our lives and taught us so much about loving and giving unselfishly.
I know you are serving God in a very special way now.
